Throughout the 1990s as well as the 80s, 70s, 60s and 50s, there has been only one King of the Blues - Riley B. King, affectionately known as B.B. King. Since King started recording in the late 1940s, he has released over 50 albums, many of them considered blues classics. Among his many hits are "The Thrill Is Gone," "Payin' The Cost To Be The Boss," "Everyday I Have The Blues," "You Don't Know Me" and "Why I Sing The Blues." In 2006 B.B. King won his 14th Grammy for "Best Traditional Blues Album" for his latest release B.B. King & Friends-80, a collaboration with some of today's biggest musical stars.
